A Diary From Noone

She spoke but no one heard, every scream seemed a whisper, and so she took pen to paper...

Too late…

You should have been there,
You should have noticed,
You should have helped me,
You should have saved me!
You could have asked,
You could have told me,
You could have had my help,
You could have been saved!
I tried!
I Tried!
No you turned your back on me,
No you looked the other way,
No you didn’t listen,
No you didn’t help!
You put up a brick wall,
You looked fine,
You shut me out,
You didn’t ask!
I Tried!
I Tried!
I wish that we spoke,
I wish that I could have communicated with you,
I wish that I could feel that you cared,
I wish things ended differently!
Your pain did not translate,
Your suffering wasn’t clear,
You kept me at arms length,
Things could have ended differently!
Now I am gone!
Now you are gone!
Yet there is a lesson to be learnt here,
Which may lead to truly saving someone!

If you know someone who suffers from mental illness, checking in on them regularly could be a deal breaker. Feeling just an ounce of significance can save lives! Knowing you have someone to turn to can save lives. Feeling acknowledged can save lives. Knowing that support is available and warrented can and does save many lives. So be a sport, show some love and support, always be mindful that when people are mentally unwell, reassurance of security can be detrimental.
This following clip is of season 1, episode 2 of, “No One’s Lounge” my new mental health chat show via my YouTube channel noone adiaryfromnoone all about stigma and taboo. Please check it out and share it all about. Donations will assure more episodes to come, crowd funding throughout the year… only 7 more to go and halfway there to number 3 🤞🏾❤

Always be mine…

It’s the same old shit over and over again,
Like the ice lolly in the fridge,
Every bridge,
I make,
Seems to crumble,
Even the ones made to share,
Laid before me.
Why is it that no one seems to want me,
We cannot fault a dependant baby,
Nor let go of a seemingly dependant child,
Teenager,
Young adult,
I may be extra needy now,
Whether it be that I am done with the subconscious sherades,
Or now unable to keep up with the fascade,
Those developmental needs not met,
I try to forget,
But they are cemented in my memory,
And taint what lies ahead of me.
Being illegitimate,
A bastard,
I have never got over that,
But I was lucky enough to have you.
Sometimes now it doesn’t feel that way,
I don’t feel I should have to say,
You should know anyway!
I am not asking for the world,
Nor all of your heart,
But just a space in it would be a good start,
It was always two,
Society suggests it should be three,
But we were a pair,
Growing up together,
Just you and me.
Then there was three,
But your chosen one never liked me,
Nine years passed,
And still no improvement,
Disappeared over night,
Not even a goodbye,
He left.
Then restored,
It was just you and I once again.
That other figure,
The donor,
He was always looming,
Mostly by fantasy,
He was welcome,
But chose to barely see me.
Time passed,
I left the nest,
You watched me sore,
Independence all around,
Famous firsts,
Like living alone,
We experienced separately,
But in synchronicity.
I was strong back then,
Defiant,
Independent,
But I lost those qualities somewhere along the way.
I am more needy now,
Some might say.
Delighted that you found your love,
Your soul mate descended from above,
And this one even took me under his wing,
Accepted me from the beginning.
Two became three once more,
Three became four,
A little one more,
That we all love,
Cherish,
And adore.
Sprinkled with extended family,
You now have your 2.4,
Being an adult,
I am so happy for you,
But being ill,
I need you still.
I feel cast to the side somewhat,
Sometimes remembered,
Sometimes not,
In fact often forgot.
I know that now you must devide your love and time,
I just don’t want you to forget that I need you,
And I am still here,
Patiently waiting,
Standing in line,
Because I will always be your daughter,
And Mother,
You will always be mine.

On My Own…

Sat home alone,
I cannot focus,
On anything but the bloody ticking tock,
Of my painfully loud clock.
Relentlessly kept anchored in the present,
I fester,
As I am a prisoner,
A slave captured by time,
Unable to hence forth,
Or recline,
Just stuck,
And endlessly out of luck.
What are the chances?
What did I do?
I would repent if I knew.
All I want is to love,
And be loved,
Like everyone else around me,
They make it look so easy,
And I welcome it with open arms,
But there is no love for me.
I can no longer depend on hope,
Delude myself that we are all deserved,
Of love,
And may receive it.
I have been looking,
Loudly,
Openly,
Scouting,
Foraging,
Wishing,
And wanting,
But just keep on,
Getting rejected,
Left and abandoned,
Falling,
Longing,
And failing,
I am worn out,
And I am torn.
How else can I take this but personally,
Now thirty-three,
Believe me,
I have sailed into the great unknown,
Searching for a lover to call mine own,
But it seems that love is not part of my destiny,
It turns out that there isn’t enough love for everybody,
And two shall not always become one,
We don’t all get that special someone,
To hold up and lean upon.
I must sink,
And sink alone,
But for all my writing in ink,
That shall follow me as I drown,
Like a dog to a bone,
My only companion,
As in the same pattern,
I shall leave this life alone,
Just as I came into it,
On my own.

VORTEX…

I have a vortex of solemn energy that lingers above my soul and heart,
No vacuum of pills nor therapy can suck it away,
Love,
Hope,
Nor positivity can shrink it,
Or banish it,
Trick it,
Or lead it astray.
No one can be more frustrated about this than I,
I constantly try to shift it,
But its tangled and knotted roots,
Are so thick and deep,
They have tricked my body into thinking they belong.
I want to run,
I want to hide,
But there is no getting away from this,
It’s in me,
Part of me,
This giant tardis,
Of numbness and misery,
Why it chose me is a mystery,
But I know in my heart,
That I will never be free,
As each day it gets more firmly rooted,
Holds me back from my potential destiny,
Deviding me from my friends and family.
Alone I must suffer and endure this,
Riddled in pain,
Watching life go by,
And all the things that I will miss,
Because there is no escaping this.
This poison will stay with me for as long as I exist.
I did not ask for this.
I do not relish in it.
I did not choose to be a host.
You think I am self indulged and selfish,
Able to set myself free,
Embrace love and be happy.
Oh how you are wrong!
I did not invite or agree,
For this curse to be bestowed upon me,
To live life in constant misery,
It chose me!
You’ll never understand it unless you also have experience it,
And so the fact that you don’t,
Ignites relief within me,
I would rather your frustration,
And gradual segregation,
Then for you to have to live through the same as me,
In order to fully understand me.
As this black hole of darkness eats away at me,
I would not even wish it upon my biggest enemy,
The constant…
Chronic pain,
The tears,
The stress,
The darkness,
The paranoia,
Dissociation,
Hallucinations,
Anxiety,
Panic attacks,
Fatigue,
Is not the type of life that I would wish for me,
Or anybody,
But I caught it,
And resentfully,
I must undergo all that comes with it.
The vortex,
The black hole,
Of ill mental health,
Eats away at you,
Until one way or another,
There is nothing left of you,
And seemingly no way out!

Relationships Awry… Seperation Without An Explanation Or Goodbye!

How is it possible,
To drift apart as far as we have?
The thought alone,
Makes me very sad!
Is it punishment?
Protection?
A loss of effection?
This brutal wedge was not my intention.
My lack of perfection,
Has caused this rejection.
We weren’t two,
But one,
Now that bond has gone.
My illness has broken many things,
But the worst is loosing you,
My special someone,
And I fear that this is something that we cannot come back from.

The Train…

Dark, Cold, Still and Silent,
Until the tailored key is inserted and turned clockwise to ignite,
With a kiss of life,
Initiating an exuberant space,
Designed to facilitate the needs of those with beating hearts.
The vibrations of the engines churn,
And there is light,
Heat,
Motion,
And the roar of power has been born.
Movement begins,
Steady and clear direction on the track,
Gliding smoothly on the designated path.
Choo Choo,
Chucka Chucka,
Choo Choo,
Chucka Chucka,
Start, Stop, Start, Stop,
Wooshing along and tearing through the air,
Punctual,
Vital,
Certain and with clear direction.
A safe haven for people to rest their feet and travel from A-Z.
But what about me?
I remember being one of those people,
Amongst those people.
Having a purpose,
Dreams to pursue,
Always moving up and forward,
Never looking back,
But I fell off track.
I got lost,
Stuck,
And I am waiting,
Wishing,
Dreaming,
Fantasising,
But I don’t think it is ever coming back.
So I stand alone in the darkness,
Without shelter,
Warmth,
Food,
Or a map,
Destitute with no means of contact.
I hear you all,
Coming and going,
You can’t be that far away.
That glimmer of hope is all that I have and hold onto.
Do you ever hear my screams?
You don’t acknowledge them!
I seem to have been forgotten.
I have definitely been left behind.
Yet I stand waiting to be helped and found,
Day after Day.

I Do…

I hate conflict,
Yet I still seem to make people upset,
For this I apologise,
I promise it is not my intention.
Perhaps I struggle with boundaries,
Perhaps I am to easily trusting,
Far to dependant,
Intense,
A little wreck less,
Or all of the above,
But my intentions are pure,
Of this I can assure you.
I seek enemy’s not,
I want people to adore.
Despite being fully consumed with love to give,
Without personal choice,
I do struggle with receiving it.
I welcome love.
I want to be loved.
I think I deserve it.
Companionship,
A romantic relationship,
Air tight friendships.
But the reality is,
Some of us are simply not destined for love,
Intensely misunderstood,
And therefor undesirable.
What can I do,
But be honest and true,
You cannot make someone love you!
The notion of saying, “I DO”,
Seems increasingly untrue,
The baby that I crave,
Just a dream,
But I am still holding onto some hope,
That things may evolve more positively then things have been,
And currently seem.

Destined For Catastrophy

They say that in life,
When we are born,
We are all on a certain path,
But what they don’t tell you,
Is that one decision,
One simple decision,
Can change and alter that path,
In some cases for eternity,
In others,
You may get lost for a little while,
As each path leads to another,
And another,
But the lucky ones,
They finally get back on track,
And fulfil their born destiny,
The luckier ones hurtle in their born direction,
From birth until their end,
But some of us get so lost,
And bewildered in the darkness,
That we loose a sense of self,
And without knowing ones self,
How can one know their own destiny?
I feel that I fall into the later category,
I feel like I am drifting out into the endless and bottomless sea,
And before I took sail,
I had lost every part of me,
Not misplaced,
But lost forever more,
And so I go on,
And on,
And on,
Drifting,
And drifting,
Not sure of my future.
I fear that I may have forsworn my born destiny,
But somehow know that it will be a lonely and bitter end for me,
Whoever, “Me” may be!
I dream and fantasise that one day,
Someone will come along and save me,
But as time passes,
Second’s,
Minute’s,
Hour’s,
Day’s,
Week’s,
Month’s,
Year’s,
That notion seems more and more improbable,
I just cling to it for comfort.
I don’t know what I was born to be,
What life could or should have had in store for me,
But I feel in my bones what will be,
What looms above me,
And it is not pleasant,
Welcomed,
Nor warranted.
It is disaster and catastrophe!

The Poison Of Loneliness

Between the sheet’s she lye’s,
Unable to wake from slumber,
Paralysed,
Just another number.
All sense of self forgot,
Seemingly still and at peace,
The person she was and now she is not,
Deceased,
Sometime ago.
When the temperature is low,
And the British air is crisp,
Shivering alone,
One desires a lifetime accomplice.
Loneliness is her poison,
And she drank it all at once.
And so,
She sleeps.

You Are Not Alone…

You are not alone when the darkness inside you outshines the good.

You are not alone when the words in your vocabulary fail to explain how you really feel.

You are not alone when you are stood in an empty room.

You are not alone when you feel judged, inadequate, patronised and criticised.

You are not alone when the difficulties in your life outweigh the good.

You are not alone!
