When last mine eyes were open it was dark,
Alas once leaving slumber,
Surrendering to tomorrow,
Mine eyes twitch and open with a quiver,
Tis unbearable to only receive more Darkness,
It’s now that time of year, Nearing festive cheer,
The air is cold and crisp, Summertime has truly gone!
So put away your skirts and dresses,
Flip-Flops,
Sandals and summer finesses, Dig out your winter boots,
And the warmest of coats,
For now is the dark era of the year.
