What a difference a month makes…

Isn’t  it strange how quickly one becomes accustom to the surroundings in which they habitat. I was extremely  apprehensive  about being discharged today. It crossed my mind that even at its worst; sharing a ward with fellow unpredictable and unstable patients, incompetent nurses that prefer to argue with and challenge you rather then empathise and simply listen to you. Or at it’s best; meeting the best girls ever, meeting people that know your pain, understand your suffering, staff that want nothing but the best for you, that keep you safe. In some ways it felt like being thrown to the wolves when I received the news of discharge, but I haven’t seen anything yet. My family are keeping me safe tonight, let us see what tomorrow brings.
